Telehealth
Telehealth is delivered through a HIPAA compliant Zoom platform. Virtual sessions expand access to mental health care. Barriers to care are all greatly reduced or eliminated entirely. Barriers may include work schedules, childcare, limited mobility, transportation, family members in different locations, and rural locations where there may not be mental health professionals.

Animal Assisted Play Therapy ®
The inclusion of dogs in therapy helps to reduce anxiety, lower blood pressure and reduce resistance in clients. In play therapy settings with a trained professional dogs are also helpful in building competence and confidence, creating trust and attachment, developing empathy, improving emotional and behavioral self-regulation, and reducing social problems.

Play Therapy
Play therapy is a structured and theoretically based approach to therapy. It is not just a “play time” with a therapist. Play Therapists are specially trained to understand the metaphorical nature of a child’s play, and are able to strategically use play to help the child express what is troubling him/her. Play becomes their language and the toys become their words.

Sandtray Therapy is a dynamic, expressive process of personal experience, and can be utilized with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Sandtray experiences allows both conscious and unconscious aspects of the client’s psyche to interact, making meaning of once hidden dilemmas, fears, trauma, and dreams. Virtual sandtrays can be utilized.
